Description: Henderson Settlement is located on KY 190 off U.S. Hwy. 25E, 18 miles SW of Pineville. A United Methodist Mission founded in 1925, this 1,300-acre mission includes: a church, demonstration farm, greenhouse, orchards, garden, hiking trail, gymnasium, recreational ball fields, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, swimming pool, dining hall with food service for 15 or more, and converted guest houses for reunions and groups up to 60. Current programs include farm production, community development, social work, early childhood development, youth work, study camps, and day care services. Free tours of working mission by appointment. Craft shop offers variety of handmade mountain/country crafts, quilts.
